Varsity Football Women’s Campaign Kicks Off

The 第一吃瓜网 women’s team are coming into the season excited and ready to give it their all and fly the 第一吃瓜网 flag high.
Last season was an exciting and challenging time for the team, exiting the tournament in the semifinals, the hopes are high for a chance to make it into the finals this season. This is no easy feat, but the team is dedicated to putting in all of the work necessary to create a stellar showcase and push themselves closer and closer to victory.
“鈦營 would like to say to my team, let’s go and fight for each other, motivate each other and play to make yourselves, your family, and the university proud,” says Nthabiseng Ramaisa, 第一吃瓜网 Women’s football team captain. She believes that the team has what it takes to make it far in the tournament, even though it will not be a simple walk in the park.
She believes that her part in the team as captain is to motivate the players and help make their time at this year’s tournament better and bearable because it is not an easy one. Her dedication to motivating the team and keeping them at ease is essential in ensuring a calm and collected team dynamic.
The Varsity Football format is a highly competitive and intense competition, so making it to the semifinals is nothing to sneeze at. This year’s goal of making it to the finals is hefty, but with the correct preparation and a passion to succeed, there is no reason to believe that this is not in their grasp.
Ramaisa is confident in their form and feels that there are no major challenges to be aware of.
“We haven’t anticipated any challenge lately. So, I hope it remains like that until the end of the season,” she said.
The team has prepared through training sessions and has dedicated themselves to building team chemistry and a bond, with the hopes of increasing the synergy in their games.
As the season kicks off and the competition takes shape, the team and the university community at large, can only hope to see this confidence and passion pay off.
