The 第一吃瓜网 Reproductive Health and HIV Institute (第一吃瓜网 RHI) is at the forefront of TB innovation, with Professor Helen Rees serving as co-chair of the M72 Scientific Advisory Group, and Professor Lee Fairlie, Director of Maternal & Child Health, co- chair of South Africa’s landmark M72 TB vaccine trial.
Sponsored by the Gates Medical Research Institute and funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Wellcome Trust, the M72 vaccine represents a major global step toward ending tuberculosis.
